What the app is

Captain SuperSight is a supplemental information and display aid. Depending on your device and setup, it offers camera magnification, visual filters, AI descriptions and text reading, approximate destination direction and distance, and stereo image alignment.

AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. A destination arrow indicates approximate direction and distance, not a safe or walkable route. The app does not determine safe crossings, prevent collisions, or reliably warn of hazards.

Medical advice and display settings

The app does not provide medical advice. Do not use it to diagnose, treat or manage an eye condition, or as a substitute for prescribed visual aids, treatment or professional care.

Always consult your doctor before proceeding with use. Consult an eye care professional before using stereo image alignment. This feature adjusts the horizontal position of the left or right camera image; it is not a prescribed prism or clinical calibration.

Stop use if you experience double vision, eye strain, headache, dizziness, nausea or disorientation, and seek professional advice before resuming. Read the display safety instructions.

Your responsibility

Use the app at your own responsibility: you remain responsible for deciding whether and how to use it, following safety instructions, and independently verifying important information before acting.

• Continue using your established mobility aids, mobility training, trusted assistance, and your own judgment.
• Never use the app to decide whether a road, railway, platform edge, construction area, or other route is safe.
• Verify information that could affect health, safety, money, transport, or legal rights.
• The app does not provide medical advice and is not an emergency service and does not guarantee prevention of accidents or injury.

These responsibilities do not transfer our legal duties to you. Nothing in these notices excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory rights concerning personal injury, negligence and defective products.
